Villa Marrakesh was built for pleasure. Located in the Dutch Lowlands, with a fantastic view across the Simpson Bay Lagoon to Terres Basses, this house has everything you need for a relaxing and inspiring vacation. Villa Marrakesh may be rented as a 3, 4 or 5 bedroom house, and has been carefully designed to provide the best possible villa experience.

You can cook a terrific meal in the gourmet kitchen while sipping wine from the well stocked wine refrigerator. You can dine outdoors on the pool deck accompanied by music from the indoor/outdoor sound system, or go out to eat at one of Marigot’s restaurants, only a 10 minute drive away. Cupecoy and Mullet Bay beaches are within walking distance. There is a computer available for your use with a DSL internet connection. You can enjoy the home theater system, or soak in a jacuzzi bathtub and savor the view.

The only regrettable thing about Villa Marrakesh is that you may never want to leave!

HIGH SPEED INTERNET AND WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY:
Two top of the line PC’s hooked up the a high speed DSL connection, together with an Ethernet port in the downstairs master. There is also a wireless network that covers the kitchen, living and dining rooms and the deck.

CABLE TV in the Living room, 2 upstairs master bedrooms and the large downstairs master bedroom.

OUTDOOR GRILL/ BBQ:
A new 5 burner 60,000 BTU Vermont Castings Grill ( This is the highest rated grill by consumer reports ). It has a 15,000 BTU side burner, a 20,000 BTU rotisserie burner infrared heater, and integrated LED grill light. Exclusive backlit console lighting and porcelain coated cast-iron cooking grates.

MOSQUITO MAGNET:
This keeps our home mosquito free.

WHOLE HOUSE WATER SYSTEM  from Life Source:
This is a carbon system and uses no salt or chemicals. ALL the water in the house is filtered, including bath and shower water.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS:
The upper right bedroom has double doors opening out onto the pool deck and the view, and a Jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower. Located just off of the living room, this room has a large comfortable bed and lots of privacy, along with a dark wood closet with a safe and bathrobes. The bathroom has beautifully painted details, and the outdoor shower has tall vegetation shielding it from view and several showerheads.

The left upstairs bedroom is almost a mirror of the right side bedroom, but with a different bathroom. The bathroom has a glass-tiled shower and spacious sink area, while the bedroom area has a king-sized bed and the same comfortable amenities as all of the Villa Marrakesh bedrooms.

There is a  3rd bedroom with a queen-sized bed which may be used for an extra person - there is a full bathroom located off of the living room for it’s use.

All the bedrooms in Villa Marrakesh are equipped with TV with a DVD/VHS player, a Bose clock radio/CD player, air-conditioning, bathrobes, and a safe (not to mention bed linens, bath towels and beach towels!). The two larger bedrooms on this floor have cable TV. Although each bedroom is different in terms of size, each has its own charming features.

The front door at Villa Marrakesh opens into a spacious living area, which in turn has sliding doors opening onto the pool deck. Inside the front door to the right is a large professionally designed and fully equipped kitchen. To the left is a library area, and also a computer desk, for the use of the guests, which is connected to high speed internet, as well as a fax machine. The 2 upper bedrooms flank the living area, which has comfortable couches and a state-of-the-art entertainment center. The stereo system in the house can be switched to play outdoors while you enjoy the water and the sunshine.

The  main floor of Villa Marrakesh has 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds, plus a 3rd bedroom which has a queen-sized bed. There is a full bathroom with shower off of the living area.

The main living area has a library, desk with computer and fax, dining table, seating area, and plasma TV with surround sound speakers and stereo system. Also there are 2 A/C units to keep it cool. The gourmet kitchen has a professional stove, an honor bar and wine refrigerator, and is fully equipped with appliances (including a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and citrus juicer) and dishware.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS:
 

The left downstairs bedroom is the biggest of all four bedrooms, and has sets of double doors which open out onto a glorious view of the lagoon and the French hillside. This bedroom also has a sitting area and large walk-in closet, as well as a huge bathroom with a steam shower, Jacuzzi bathtub, and an additional outdoor shower. In the bathroom there is also a small refrigerator for late night drinks or snacks, and a large TV with cable and a DVD player.

The right downstairs bedroom is a cozy room with an outdoor sitting area of its own. This bedroom is colorfully decorated and outfitted with a dressing table by the bathroom. As with all the other bedrooms, this room has a television with a DVD/VHS player and a Bose Radio\CD player. The outdoor seating area has a half-moon bench and table, and steps leading up to the pool deck and main house.

 GARDEN AND POOL DECK:
 

The gardens at Villa Marrakesh are some of the most beautiful in St. Martin. There are a huge variety of plants and trees, including the aptly named Flamboyant tree, and a beautifully fragrant Frangi Pani tree. There is a secluded and serene bench area (pictured at left) plus a stone pond and a small fountain. The combination of the shaded quiet landscaping and the fantastic view wrap Villa Marrakesh in sensory pleasure.

Villa Marrakesh faces the Simpson Bay Lagoon and has beautiful views of the French lowlands hillside. The pool deck takes full advantage of the views and the breeze, with plenty of lounge chairs and a gazebo for al fresco dining.
